2024
In 2024, most of my creative energy and attention was given to the conceptualizing, planning and manifesting of an interior redesign project at Sakura House. After 30 years of not much change or updating I was inspired by early technicolor films, 1940-1950s local Palm Springs design, and traditional Japanese design details, to replace the flooring, add color to the walls, and redecorate. The work resulted in a fresh and fun guest room, and an earthy, meditative studio space for holistic wellness services. I look forward to embarking on similar updates for the exterior and landscaping in the coming years!
